Why can't any of the damn doctors offer me a payment plan or a hold on medicaid! All I want to do is get into the doctor, try for a heartbeat, make sure everything else is looking fine, but either I pay the $200 to $250 just to see the doctor, or I wait an entire month on medicaid. I am 7 weeks along officially, but I could be 11 as my last period was way off from what it usually is. I am so ready to go, but so not prepared to drop $200 cash for some doctor to probably bitch about my weight and possibly not even tell me anything. If I am only 7 weeks the heartbeat wouldn't come up on a doppler yet, so then what, pay another ungodly ammount of money for a sonogram?!?!? FUCK DOCTORS! If they were really worried about the state mine and my babies health then they would get me in and let me make payments, but no... They are more worried about their pockets, like they are actually in need.

Since this was awhile back I'm not sure if you got this settled, but Medicaid, least around here, is retroactive. Meaning, go to your doc when you can, and Medicaid HAS to pay it if you've been approved, you dig?
