Im to the point of screaming......My youngest son is an emotional rollercoaster right now,He has bad mood swings and I dont know what to do.he wont talk to me.he dont like school,I can see it in his face when he knows he has to go back to school at the end of the weekend,he gets very anxious nervous and I can tell he is worrying about something,I dont know what to do if he is being bullied he wont tell me about it so I can talk to the principal or go a step higher if I need to,I have talked to his teachers and principal already about his makeup work he needs to get done where he has missed from being sick from all of this emotional crap,I went through this but nobody seems to listen and this just makes it harder for him to understand, and Im at the end of my rope with trying to make ppl understand.

Sounds like your youngest is starting through the puberty rollercoaster AND has something at school that isn't going right. Is there a certified counselor at the school? Step in and request in writing that your son see the counselor. State your reasons clearly including the missing days of school. If you put your requests in writing (date and keep copies for your own files), they cannot ignore it. And remember, if need be, go over heads to the district offices.
I wish you luck with this. Boys in middle school have it hard. They are going through puberty, discovering girls again, and trying to deal with everything that their peers are throwing at them. It can be survived though. My youngest is 11 1/2. My oldest are 19 yr old twins. I also have a 14 yr old daughter in the mix.
