Brannon and Mommy update--2/17/08

My little wrinkled man! I never knew I could Love someone sooooooo Fricking much!

I have been home a few days from the hospital and I am getting stronger everday. I had retinal hemorrages from the HELLP syndrome I went through before and during delivery. The doc says it should get better, it just takes time. It is frustrating because I have these weird spots and it's hard to see correctly. Had my 24 staples removed yesterday and my wound is healing well. I will go back to work on Monday, but only part-time.  I don't want to have to use day care when Brannon comes home, so we will try the part-time, luckily i make $23/hr, so  part-time may work out ok.

Brannon was doing really well. Breathing all on his own,until a couple days ago. He developed a mild case of NEC--an infection in tummy, had a couple air pockets. He had a blood culture, spinal tap and urine tests. Nothing bad has shown up so far, great news and they gave him a little assistance in breathing so he can rest. They will take him back off the breathing help tomorrow and see how he does. I pray all the time! I miss him and can't wait until he comes home.

Aww, he is a little wrinkly bug!!  He looks so soft and yummy-makes you just want to kiss his little forehead!   Congrats!

Congrats and it is so good that he is doing well.  I remember when my girls were wrinkled.  I called them my little old men!

My favorite part of seeing a new mom is hearing"I never knew i could love someone this much" lol pretty unbelieveable isn't it? I had no idea what love was until my kids...no idea.I am so glad its going well and he is adorable, wide eyed lil man.much love to you sandie and baby brannon.

Great news :) its so normal for premies to have ups and downs. He seems like a strong little man! He is a cutie too!
