 I was just thinking about writing a story about Seth Clearwater (Twilight character) and i really want the heroine's name to be Scotty but i want Scotty to be short for something... i just don't know what....

Scotlyn is all i can think of. Which sounds a lot like Scotland so you can see my hesitancy.

Does anyone have any ideas?

How about Scotia (Sco-sha) like Nova Scotia?? Or... Sequoia. You could easily shorten that to Scotty.
