Okay well i went to the doctor on monday (february 16th) and they did my group b strep test and then they told me that I am 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced or thinned out....Normally I'd be happy but i'm only 35 weeks pregnant....I don't want my baby to come early, and well I'm scared....I know this is my 2nd child but I never felt any contractions with Landen....they induced me, and the amatuer nurse gave me two ambiens to help me sleep, and they gave me twice as much demerol as they where supposed to and I wasn;t even supposed to have it and then they did my epidural...So I don't know anything about this, I'm nervous, is this normal?

Yes that is normal. It is common to be that far along for a month before having a baby. I was with both of my kids. I also had contractions everyday for the last month on and off.
