UPDATE #3 Thank you everyone for your prayers it worked my little sister came home friday very healthy. things are great although very hectic. its crazy having 4 kids under 2yrs old in the house lol esp with Conner & Bridy only being 2 weeks apart & basically on the same schedule which we did not do on purpose lol

UPDATE #2!!! so i talked to wanda the caseworker & my sister is still in the hospital,still going through withdrawls but they expect her to make it. she will be a month old on the 12th & the drs are hoping by then she can be released. as far as the mother goes she hasnt been to see her in days & she had to take a phycalogical exam & the dr demed(sp?) her unfit to ever care for another child & she has to go into a phycward for no less than a year so that means her rights will be terminated from both my brother & sister. i'll keep you guys updated on when she comes home. please keep praying though anything could happen still.

UPDATE!! so Wanda my sisters casworker was sapost to come see my brother today for her monthly visit but instead she called my mom & said she wouldnt be coming untill next week sometime,reason being that she talked to my sisters other caseworker & apparently shes getting better...if she continues the way she is than she could be home as early as next week but the drs arnt sure yet....please everyone still pray for my sister...anything could still happen. we wont know shes safe & sound untill shes home in our arms..Thank you everyone for the support & prayers my family & I grately appreciate it!!

so as some of you may know my parents are foster parents & currently have a 16 month old foster son who they've had since he was 13 days old & plan to adopt him. we all love my brother as if he was truely a biological brother. so the other day 2/13 we found out that my brothers mother & father have a new child born 2/12. its a little girl who sadly was also born addicted to drugs just as my lil brother was. well she is now in state custody & still in the hospital due to drug withdraws. she currently in the NICU b.c she cant suck so shes on a feeding tube & they cant seem to get her temperture down. Since the baby is in state custody & we have her brother we were the first ones to be called & asked if we wanted to take her as well of course we all agreed that we would take her & although it would be hard having to take care of another drug baby going through withdrawls we handled it great with my brother & we could do it again..its totally worth it to know that these babies are well taken care of & loved just as they should be. well earlier today i called her case worker to see how she was doing & when they thought we would get the baby. well her caseworker said that they dont know when we can get the baby or if we even can. we found out that the mother is allowed supervised visitation which i think is bullcrap i mean shes still getting high they accually had to deny her 1 of her visitiations because she was so high when she arrived & they had to kick her out of another one b.c she passed out from being so high while holding the baby. so one of the caseworkers is going to try to get the visitations revoked...hopefully that happens im sorry this may sound mean but this woman doesnt diserve her children or to even see them. this is her 3rd child born addicted to drugs in the past 4 years. she has a 4 yr old that has already been adopted by another family,then my brother who is 16 months whos about to be adopted by my parents,& now this poor innocent little girl. we also found out that the baby is still on a feeding tube b.c she still hasnt learned to suck,shes on phenobarbital b.c shes begun to have seizures,they still cant get her temp to go down shes now 6 days old & has been running a fever of atleast 101 since birth. we also found out that the drs have decided to put her on a morphine drip to help with the pain of the withdrawls b.c they said with how bad shes truely doing & how tiny she is they do not expect her to live much longer. so please everyone pray for my little sister. she needs all the help she can get. shes so tiny & young to be going through all of this. I will keep everyone updated as i get my updates. just please pray my little sister makes it through all of this..

I hope you guys get her! and I hope that women stops having children and I agree with you about her not deserving of them. God bless and I will pray for her.

I will post your story in my Prayer Warriors for Our Unborn Group. I hope that God works in a mighty way but even when He doesn't work how we want Him to, His perfect will is for all of our best.
