I was in wal-mart when 2 girls  came up to me.They ask if they could use my phone. They said some guys had left them there and they had to get back to Little Rock. So I did I thought they had it taken care of.

someone called my phone a woman and said one of the girls had ran away and she didn't have a way to get her back home and ask if I could bring her I said I would bring her to near by town of LR but not all the way.

before it was over .....several phone calls were she talk to her and me and having the girls in my car she told me that they had run away from a group home in the town I was in, and they needed to go back there.

my husband and my kids have ALL  been all over me. they could have a gun.someone could have been waiting for me there, and I could have went to jail for helping them and alot of other stuff

I feel like such a fool what was I hubby says I to good hearted and it could have got me in a lot of trouble this time and of course he was scared to death every time she was on the phone and he was trying to get though.

I just wanted to help and I thought "If my daughter had got herself in a place like this (left in another town with no ride) I would want a person like me to help her. I'm just glad they vested up and wented back to were they belonged.

You can still help. Just next time call the police and let them handle it.

I agree with Helen. You should have called the police. They would have found out were the girls needed to go and they would have taken them there. I'm glade you are okay. It could have been worse!!! You can not be to careful! My hubby told me that there was a really nice old man in his small town. He was driving down the road and a pregnant woman stopped him and asked him for a ride. Well he thought she needed help and he gave her a ride. Well she killed him, took his wallet, drove to his house and sold everything of value, and took off in his truck. It took only 3 days and she was caught. But it was to late for the old man. Just a warning next time. Call the police!

You know, I did the same thing right before christmas, I even had my girls in the car with me. I think I was starting to have a panic attack half way across town, cause she seemed content to have me take her as far as she wanted to go, and I just wanted to get her to a busy intersection, so maybe she could catch a ride with someone else.

I kept hearing that song " what if god was one of us" kept thinking I couldn't turn this person out. I ended up giving her 20 bucks and wishing her well. I figured I earned my wing that day. LOL

Regardless, you did what your heart said, God was watching you and over you. Don't let the nay-sayers ruin the part of you that really cares. When it's our turn God will take us, meantime.. you were the angel, what a special lady.

I say calling the police or taking them to the police station is still whole heartedly helping ......
