Possibly buying our first house! :)

My Fiance FINALLY got a job he has been wanting. It is steady and pays pretty good. It is hard to get a steady job in the construction industry. Most people go from job to job. He is so excited that he finally has a nomex with him name on it. He never had that. Plus, it is good hours. 4 days a week, 10 hours a day, off on Fridays. Not alot of overtime, but he can work optional. He used to work 60 and 70 hours a week and I swear he missed Mikayla's first year of life. He was ALWAYS working. He wants more family time. We have decided now is the time to buy. Interest rates are really low. We tried to go today to talk to a mortgage broker in Baton Rouge reccommended by a realtor friend. Well, traffic was terrible and we got lost. We drove down the road it was on like 4 times. It seemed to be in an office suite hidden and we couldn't find it. The GPS wouldnt even find it. We came back to Addis and rode through the subdivision we want to buy in. We called about and a house and talked to the realtor. She gave us a number for their lender. We called him, talked to him, and explained our situation. He said we could qualify for a rural develepment loan and also some first time buyer programs. Sounds pretty good! We might even qualify for 100% financing. We have a down payment, but we might just keep it and pay off a vehicle, unless our mortgage is to high. My Fiance is going to talk to him Monday and do an application over the phone. We will probably go in the office next Friday when my Fiance is off again. I am hoping this all works out b/c we have less than perfect credit. The lender said that he can use our highest score or merge them together. We should be fine if he does that. Mine is a whole lot better than my Fiance's, but i'm staying home with our daughter and have no job right now. I can't find one. I have sent my resume so many places with no calls back. I know if I am working, we will get the loan no problem. The loan officer said we could get approved. Hopefully he can us approved! I want a house so bad. I need more space! I feel like the walls are closing in on me here. I live in 826 sq. feet. 3 PEOPLE!! I have clutter and toys everywhere and no storage. I feel like we live in a shoebox. Once, Mikayla is sleeping, I have to tip toe because you can hear every noise. Sometimes I feel like there is no where to just get away for a little while to get peace of mind. I am dreading trying to keep a 1800 sq. foot house clean, but I think I am ready to take the plunge. We will have to tame our spending habits some, but if I had a nice house, I would just stay in my home. I already have my heart set on a house, which is probably not a smart idea. If we get turned down it will break my heart. It never hurt to try though. Sorry this is so long. It is late, I am bored, can't go to sleep as usual. Just wanted to tell you about my exciting day.
Here is the house I LOVE! It is beautiful and so new. All they are selling around here is new construction.
