I woke up with a horrible cough this morning. Which is following about a weeks worth of stuffy nose.
I roll out of bed cough my head off. Then head downstairs to tell Matt goodbye and to have fun skiing today.
He's outside getting his stuff packed into the car, so I head out there and what is the first thing I do when I get outside? Yup, sick 'ol me lights up a cigarette!
Why I feel the need, even being as increadablly sick as I am, I have no clue. It has a hold on me, and I HATE it! I hate ciggeretts.
I have no troubles quitting for pregnancy or breastfeeding, but the second Im done with either back on the smokes I go. 10 years now I have been smoking these cancer sticks off and on, and today Im calling it quits. Im DONE! For good!
I'm off right now to throw away the rest of these damn American Spirits. Goodbye forever smokes!
Im off to a new me, and me free of cigarettes!

Congratulations!!! You will feel so much better after you quit. No more cigarette breath, stinky clothes and you child will be less likely to smoke when they get older! I quit years ago and would never start up again. Just push through the initial tough stage at the beginning and try to stay away from other smokers. It will be easier. Best of luck!!
I WISH YOU STRENGTH. A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE SMOKED FOR YEARS (HAD QUIT FOR THE LAST 15-20 YRS)AND NOW AT AGE 42 HAS CANCER.ITS NOT WORTH IT MAMA!!
