Have you all seen the new Barbie advertised???

Apparently you n Barbie can now have fun making and sharing tattoos...

Now don't get me wrong...I have 3 tattoos and want work up and over my shoulder eventually tying the front and back tattoos together...

But whodathunk the "wholesome" (giggle/snort) Barbie we grew up on would now be a tattoo gal???

(It comes with a "tattoo gun" that your child can make her own stick on tattoos)

i may have this wrong, but barbie didn't start off as a wholesome doll for little girls. i think i read somewhere or saw on HBO that barbie's beginnings are a bit sordid. but i can't remember for sure.

maybe she's just going back to her roots. LOL.

it's about time!

when i was little there was a doll called "tattoodle"  or something like that and i remember begging for it and finally got it for christmas.  i was sooo happy and it was way cooler than this barbie.

Missy-I think I heard the original was fashioned after a German sex doll or something like that...So you're right...America in the '50's gave her the squeaky clean image....
