10 Questions on Motherhood!

1. How old are your children? stepdaughters: 20, 18, 14, and 10...sons: 6 and 3
2. How old were you when you had your first child? 30 
3. Did you know the sex before you gave birth? yep
4. Did you and your SO fight over names? Who won? no, we researched everything and totally knew when the right name clicked 
5. What did you crave most while pregnant? Chili's bacon cheddar cheese burger AND FRIES!!!
6. How many diapers do you think you've changed? approx 6 per day per child which is about 7,000...more when they were sick and I forgot to add stepdaughters
7. How did you react the first time you left your children with someone else? truth? I was a little relieved b/c I couldn't let my first stay w/anyone for health reasons until he was 2...every day for two years...I'll admit I needed a break! And I truly trusted his sitter.
8. What's the best part of being a mom? when they scream "Mommy!" with joy when I come in the door and run to me with their arms outstretched
9. What's the hardest thing about being a mom? letting them grow up without meddling/controlling too much
10. How many times a day do you hear the word "Mom"? My 3-y-0 says it about five hundred times per hour.....I announced on Saturday that my name was temporarily NOT "Mommy"...the older ones use "Mom" sparingly and my heart always turns toward them

1. Where were you born?  Do you still live there? Born in Texas City, TX and live in Coldspring, TX (two hours north)
2. Are you an only child? nope...one brother
3. What's your favorite book/TV show/movie/song/color? in love with the Twilight Series/Fringe/no particular movie/about a billion songs/ and PINK!
4. Who do you most admire? my father
5. What word or phrase do you say constantly? "Awesome!"
6. Where is the furthest place that you've ever been from home? Tokyo
7. How many pairs of shoes do you own? too many...maybe 36?
8. Are you are an early bird or a night owl? night owl with early bird kids...hmph
   
9. If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? nothing, I'd drink Dr. Pepper to survive 
10. What's the craziest thing you've ever done? got some big mistakes I've made that were definitely insane but I hesitate to admit
