10 Questions on Motherhood!

1. How old are your children? They are 2 1/2 and 5.
   
2. How old were you when you had your first child?  23
   
3. Did you know the sex before you gave birth?  yes and yes
   
4. Did you and your SO fight over names? Who won?  Not really, surprisingly!
   
5. What did you crave most while pregnant?  Buffalo wings and dried cranberries (NOT together) with DD, and anything sweet and sour with DS.
   
6. How many diapers do you think you've changed?  There are no numbers large enough to express this.
   
7. How did you react the first time you left your children with someone else?  Not well.  Not well at all.
   
8. What's the best part of being a mom?  It's a toss up between the hugs, the giggles, and the "I love you's."
   
9. What's the hardest thing about being a mom?  Seeing them hurt and not being able to make it better.
   
10. How many times a day do you hear the word "Mom"?  See number 6.

1. Where were you born?  Do you still live there?  Poughkeepsie, NY.  Nope, not in over a decade.
   
2. Are you an only child?  Yes,  and no.  But yes.
   
3. What's your favorite book/TV show/movie/song/color?  Bible/Gilmore Girls or Leverage/How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Fast & the Furious, & American Outlaws/depends on my mood/usually black or pink.
   
4. Who do you most admire?  my 9th grade science teacher, my best friend, my friend who has successfully raised and homeschooled 8 kids, and my husband.
   
5. What word or phrase do you say constantly?  Please don't stick your fingers there....
   
6. Where is the furthest place that you've ever been from home?  Santa Cruz, Bolivia
   
7. How many pairs of shoes do you own?  I plead the 5th.
   
8. Are you are an early bird or a night owl?  Night Owl.
   
9. If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?  Pasta.
   
10. What's the craziest thing you've ever done?  Craziest as in zany?  Ride on a jet ski at the beach wtih a perfect stranger.  It was awesome, though, and I'd do it again =)  Craziest as in stupid?  Well, those instances are 3 in number, and oddly enough all three can be summed up using a male name.  Craziest as in girly nutsy fun?  Piercings and tats ... love 'em!
