For those of you that don't know kris got taken down to primary childrens wensday. His blood sugars were threw the roof. We spent three days there then came home. The first 2 days his blood was high when he got up... for those of you that don't know "fasting" blood sugars chould be lower. Then after snack time he said mom I don't feel good. I checked his sugars (No inselin) he was at 73! WTF???!!! I don't understand!
At lunch today I gave him 2.5 units (Enough for 56 carbs) he took 2 bites and started pukeing... not just a bit... all over!!!
I am so frusterated and confused. I know his grandma's diabetic but why him? He's only three years old!! He doesn't eat junk food (Mabey a bit of popcorn or a little bit of candy) so it's not like this is from food.
UGGGGHHHHHH I JUST WANT TO CRY!!!!!
I know your thinking wawawa other kids smaller then him get it. I know that! The baby next to us in the hospital died from it only 12 moths old.
I completly understand it could be way worse but I am soooo fricken frusterated now it's not even funny! Either he won't eat or he eats more. Now he won't hold anything down!
They gave me an emergicey number to call.... NO ONE ANSWERS!!! I got a flippen answering machine! They finaly called me back an hour later!
UGGGGHHHHHHHHH
Ok sorry for the wineing... i'm going to go cry in the cornoer now and try to make since of everything. thank you for listening.

I am sorry honey its so hard when your child has something that will never go away. I felt the same way when my 8 year old was dx with type 1 4 months ago. Main thing is not blame yourself you didn't cause him to have diabetes. Its also not hereditary. type 1 is a autoimmune disorder not hereditry like type 2 at least thats what i was told. trust me it gets alot easier but its a very fustrating disease every day is a ball game. I hope he's doing better now
