Got my hair chopped off... tell me what color I should dye it?

Here is my new cut.....

I like dark funky colors... like almost black and burgundy... but dont want to do the whole thing in burgundy... I work in a retail store so I can't go too crazy.... and blond is out of the question... red is ok... but I'm kind of tired of it...

Got any ideas? Or good links?

How about dark on top and then a more exciting color peaking out from the layers underneath?

Yeah... kind of what I was thinking!  Should I do Dark with blonde underneath or Dark with burgundy underneat and some burgundy (a little) thrown in through the top?

Pink on the bottom like 3 inch of pink then the rest black?

Dark on top and purple underneath. Back in the 80s I used to wear my hair in a color called 'dark tulip'. It was almost balck but really purple. That was a great color IMO.

If you don't like purple do burgundy. Not Blond.

My hair used to be purple and I LOVED it! You could totally do a dark color on top (maybe a really deep garnet or plum) and then purple underneath! I used the Manic Panic purple...but it bleeds all over EVERYTHING! I'm sure they have better ones now...
