Flat Stanley arrived on Jan 30, 2009 in Hesperia, Ca.

He met some of the kids.

                                                   He traveled in luxury....

Flat Stanley was taken to visit some cities. His first stop was,

Where he visited the Queen Mary and Spruce Goose..

Flat Stanely went on a cruise

to Catalina

And Mexico....

While in Catalina, he visited the judges chambers,

And other law officials...

While on the cruise, he met a man who was 100 years old.  His family wore shirts in honor of that milestone...

He visited

To meet my Aunt....

She had some friends waiting to meet him...

She made a nice warm bed for him.

The next morning Flat Stanley was ready to roll again.  He visited more cities,

and more law enforcement family...

You would think he was tired, but not Flat Stanley.  He was on his way to Hollywood... And came upon some stars....

Flat Stanley was so excited in Hollywood that he had more stops to make...

See me on the pole????

Of course we had to visit

Of course you would think Flat Stanley was tired, but nope... He was on his way to the London Bridge in Arizona...

He was able to stand on the bridge and not get blown away..

That is where he met John Rayer. Who was excited to see Stanley.

He even let Flat Stanley help him empty the trash...

Flat Stanley's next stop was Pahrump Nevada, where he met some more friends...

He visited the local library to read about himself.

There are over 180 photos of Flat Stanley's trip to California and beyond. Of course I am only sharing a wee bit of his journey.  his last stop was to visit Dave Ane in Oceanside.  He also has a Flat Stanley, but since Dave was in the hospital his Flat Stanley stayed home.

Flat Stanley stayed with us from June 30 to February 25... His journey ended here..

This looks like so much fun!  I've never heard of Flat Stanley but I'm definitely interested.  You'll have to let me know how to do this!
