I have to get out of here. I mean I am grateful my parents gave me back my room so that I had a place for my baby and I to stay. I am grateful that when Isis needs anything, well... let me just say Isis doesn't need anything, she just gets EVERYTHING! But OMG if I have to continue to take my dad's constant nagging in my friggin private life! Or my mother's constant negativity and comments like "I'm so depressed, you are such a bad mother, where did I fail you?!" I think I am going to attempt to put my head through a wall. I am so close to just screaming that I hate them all and that they drive me crazy it isn't funny. I love my parents, dearly... but If I have to continue to suffer through this for the rest of this year, I am going to have to be cmmitted. I just dont understand why they have to nag and be so negative the majority of the time

We parents mean well, but don't always handle things well. We want to see our adult children...well, being adults, and as mother's (and your on the way to finding this out) we feel responsible for everything our adult children do....especially the mistakes..or choices that conern us. I'm sure you know that your parents love you, and are doing their best. We're not perfect, and sometimes we don't know how to be the parent you need us to be.

Hug your mom, let her know you love her, and that you're trying....I promise you she's trying too!!!

They are probably just frustrated.  Remember, it's an adjustment for them too, to bring you and the baby back into thier home.  And while I am sure they are happy to have you, it does change their lives too.

As a forty-something mom,  (ugh, did I say that?) I think I can see both sides of the coin.  Us old folks say the wrong things at times and regret them, just like anyone else.  Just remember that the important thing is that they love you and your daughter.  Let the little words and comments slide...it's just frustration...not to excuse it, but maybe to help explain it.

I agree with ohwrite, abovie, when your mom complains about your mothering, just kill her with kindness.  Ask her if she has any tips for you.  (Even if you don't really care.)  Tell her about the things you remember that she did to make your childhood special and that you hope to copy her and do the same with your child.  These little offerings of goodwill might go a long way.

Just like a marriage, a relationship like this...3 adults under one roof,  is bound to take some work.  They aren't used to you being a grown up.  To them, you will always be their little girl.

Good luck.

Girl I know exactly how you feel. I live with my parents and it's hell on earth everyday. My mom is the one who nags the hell out of me. Im looking for a job now, I'll work just about anywhere to save up some money to get the hell out. Hang in there, hopefully things will get better for you soon
