An interview with the kids...

JT is 10.5 years old, Clare is almost 6.  Got this interview from another mama friend (on Facebook :P  ) and am cracking up at the answers.... Interview your kids too!

1. What is something mom always says to you?

she says "Clean up your room."
he says "Stop running in the house."

2. What makes mom happy?

she: "Your room being cleaned up."
he: "When I do what she wants."

3. What makes mom sad?

she: "I don't know."
he: "Getting yelled at by Dad. 'Cause one time I woke up in the middle of the night and heard Dad yelling at you and you were crying." <I want everyone to know, this doesn't happen often. Surprised he said that, but he did, so I shared.>

4. How does your mom make you laugh?

she: "Tells jokes!"
he: "I'm not sure."

5. What was your mom like as a child?

she: "I don't know."
he: "I don't really know. I've never asked her about her childhood."

6. How old is your mom?

she: "Uhm,.... 136?" <roflmao>
he: "I think she's around... 33? Or something."

7. How tall is your mom?

she: "6 feet up?"
he: "5 feet, right?"

8. What is her favorite thing to do?

she: "Read."
he: "Sew. She does like sewing a lot."

9. What does your mom do when you're not around?

she: "Uh, clean up the house!"
he: "Clean up the house and sometimes get to her sewing."

10. If your mom becomes famous, what will it be for?

she: "I don't know, maybe a studio!"
he: *shrugs* "Making the best quilt in the world, I guess."

11. What is your mom really good at?

both: "Sewing."

12. What is your mom not very good at?

she: "Uh, I don't know."
he: "Checking over my area and perimeter homework."

13. What does your mom do for a job?"

she: "Feed us kids?"
he: "Nothing right now, except parenting."

14.What is your mom's favorite food?

she: "Lasagna?"
he: "I don't really know? She likes a lot of different foods."

15. What makes you proud of your mom?

she: "Hmmm. {long pause} I don't know."
he: "When she does something really helpful."

16. If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be?

she: "Princess Leia, in the Star Wars show. Because she *is* a girl."
he: "More like Minnie Mouse than any other."

17. What do you and your mom do together?

she: "Play with our Princess pet on Pet Society on Mom's laptop."
he: "We sometimes do puzzles."

18. How are you and your mom the same?

she: "Skin colors, our hair colors, and we're both girls."
he: "I guess from where we come from, since we're both Hensley's."

19. How are you and your mom different?

she: "Her ears are pierced, and she's married to Dad, and different eyes colors. And sometimes I don't wear ponytails, but Mom always does."
he: "I like playing on the computer, and she likes sewing."

20. How do you know your mom loves you?

she: "Because she hugs me and she kisses me!"
he: "In many different ways."

21. What does your mom like most about your dad?

she: "Uh, I don't know."
he: "That he is funny."

22. Where is your mom's favorite place to go?

she: "Um, the store? Kroger's?"
he: "I can't think of anywhere except the grocery store. And some other stores that I don't know the name of."
