I normally tend to the sarcastic, or at least the mildly witty in my postings. I like to use hyperbole and stir the pot, to get people thinking. However, on this issue, I want to state up front that I am sincerely and regretfully serious. I am in no way using gross exaggeration to explain the severity and import of this issue. There is an entire generation screaming for our help, and yet their voices are silent. They are in need of men, women, and other children to speak out for them, to cry loudly not only in the political arena, but to the heavens.

It is a generation of children whose lives are being snuffed out sometime between conception and birth. They are no less human, no less meaningful, no less important. I hesitate to call this a holocaust because that word stirs anger in so many, but I am at a loss as to how else to phrase it. Dr. Seuss said through Horton the elephant that A Person's A Person No Matter How Small. Mother Theresa commented on what great poverty we have here because children die so that we may live as we choose. Children who have survived abortions are speaking out. Why are so many of us standing idly by?

There is a movement known as Life in the nation. It has been building in the hearts of the youth of America for a decade. There are those radical young men and women who are not jaded enough to hide from the truth yet, not influenced enough by political forces, and not afraid of what other adults will think of them; these are the ones who are making the greatest difference.
They have drawn a line in the sand with this battle cry.

There is another movement simply known as The Call. Have you heard of life tape yet? This is a generation of people who understand that actions speak louder than words. They know the truth: only God can change this devastating force that is hurting our nation and eradicating a generation. They pray a simple prayer: Jesus, I plead your blood over my sins and the sins of this nation. God, end abortion and send revival to America. There is also a campaign called Red Letter Day. For around fifty cents and two minutes of your time, you can make a difference linking hands with others across our nation and make your voice heard with this campaign on March 31, 2009.

I am sharing this with you not to spark a debate, not to get people going on a rant, but to reveal what is going on. There are lives being taken, and only a few brave warriors defending them. It's time to build an army that will stop the shedding of innocent blood. It's time to stop worrying about political correctness or stepping on the toes of feminist choice. Sometimes that has to happen for a revolution to come.

clappingHey, why don't you join my Prayer Warrior for Our Unborn Group?  You'd be a wonderful help and strong prayer warrior.  Plus, I'm sure you would have great ideas as well.

clapping As long as there is at least ONE voice.  One of my favorite quotes is by Everett Hale..."I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something.  What I can do, I should do, and, with the help of God, I will do!"

I totally agree that if you truly in your heart believe in something you should involve yourself, write letters, start movements and so on. I just can't help but think it would be more help to offer these women support rather than make them feel guilty for making a difficult and heart wrenching decision.
