Tomorrow in my son's class the teacher requested the children "dress like farmers". I'm stuck, the only thing I can think of is suspenders. I was wondering if there are any crafty mommies out there that can tell me what a farmer is suppose to wear and how I go about having him "look" like one! I only want to use what I have on hand which is hmmmm, not sure??!! So I need some guidance here....thank you in advance!!!!

Oh and he wears grubby, muddy work brown boots with steel toes.
Good luck with the outfit.
LOL....I'm laughing what my farmer/rancher looks like.....Its jeans, a longsleeve or short sleeve shirt, vest (of some sort, considering he only has about 50), his nasty work boots (that smell like cow pooooo), and a ball cap....
I'm sorry i'm no help here.....
cant go wrong with what everyone else is saying...overalls, hat, boots, shirt lol. depends on if the teacher is wanting the stereo typical famer look from tv books ect...or what most wear for comfort ect...lol

Okay...a "traditional" kindergarten/preschool farmer look......overalls, cowboy hat, plaid shirt, boots
But to be honest....my uncle is a cattle farmer and he wears carhartt pants, any t-shirt he grabs, a baseball cap, and a carhartt coat.
