ok, i work at sally beauty supply. ive known the manager since i was three years old. shes worked with everyone in my family and my sister used to be her boss. ok well i got hired when i was preg and they didnt know. i got 40 hours a week before she found out...when she found out i got less and less hours each week. we lost an employee and i was offered 35 hours a week so i said yes- soon after we hired someone else (whos in college without an open schedule like mine) and SHE got 35 hours i got dropped to 30 EVEN though i said id take the 35. Ive asked for more  hours several times and havent gotten them. now we hired someone else who is starting work tomorrow at a 35 hour position. I asked my mgr if i could have it instead of her. I DIDNT GET IT. even though before she hires someone she moves everyone else up. SO i get cut down to 25 hours a week and the new person gets the 35 that i asked for. cute huh? i really like NOT getting hours because Im pregnant. and i know thats why bc if i wasnt (like she thought i wasnt) id be getting 40 hours a week. i know this prob doesnt make sense but im really mad about it that ive asked so many times and not gotten hours. oh, also she told a co worker she dropped my hours bc shes "worried about my trimesters" DISCRIMINATION? yes. im not on bed rest im not on any drs orders where im not capable of doing my job. THERE IS NO REASON FOR ME TO BE DOWN TO 25 HOURS A WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
