So, i've seen a ton of movies these past few months, and thought I would talk about a few of them :)

Zach and Miri Make a Porno. First off, no its not a porno. Lol. Its a comedy with Seth Rogan. Basically two broke roomates decide that the only way to make money is to... make a porno! Its actually a cute/funny movie. My BF liked it too.

Stardust. A really cool fantasy type movie. I usually hate fantasy, but loved it. It has Claire Danes, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Robert De Niro in it. Its a love story, but not a sappy one. Again, my BF actually liked it.

Taken. A VERY good mystery/suspense/action movie. Has Liam Neison in it. And Famke Jennsen. It was soo good, from start to finish. Its basically about a guy who lets his daughter go away to Paris for the summer, and you guessed it, she gets taken. So ita all about him getting her back.

Nights in Rodanthe. A beautiful love story. Made me grateful for all the time I get to spend with my family. Its got a twist, and it keeps you intersted. Diane Lane and Richard Gere are in it. They have great chemistry, IMO. Convinced my BF to watch it, he said it wasnt too bad. Probably better suited for a girls night though.

"W".The movie about George W. Bush. I didnt care for it. It seemed fairly pointless, and i'm sorry but Josh Brolin wasnt meant to play the former prez.

Seven Pounds. With Will Smith and Rosario Dawson. Okay, i thought this one sucked. It was too long, drawn out and pointless. But the basis of the movie, is that this guy has a tragedy happen earlier in his life, that affects him daily. He meets a few people, whose lives he wants to change. And does.

Paul Blart: Mall Cop. This one was pretty good. It was kinda funny, kinda cute. Kept my attention. Has Kevin James (From King of Queens) in it. He's a pretty good actor, so it was cool to see him in something recent.

Bride Wars. Definitely a chick flick. But a cute one. Has Anne Hatheway, and Kate Hudson. Both play their parts well. Its the movie about the two best friends whose weddings are booked on the same day.

My Best Friends Girl. With Dane Cook, Kate Hudson, and Jason Biggs. This one wasnt bad... but Dane Cook can get pretty raunchy (who knew, right?!) My BF liked it a lot more than I did... but it followed his sense of humor more. Basically, Dane Cook is hired by men to date their 'exs' in hopes that he is such a bad date, they'll go back to the previous guy. I dont know, but kinda reminded me if failure to launch...

Yes Man. With Jim Carrey and Zoey De Chenel. This movie was good. Probably helps though that i LOVE the two main actors. Its about a guy who doesnt like to say yes to anything, then goes to a 'yes seminiar' that 'changes his life'....Its definately a cute date movie.

Marley and Me. Not sure what all the hype was on this one. Its probably good for pet lovers, though the ending is (obviously) sad. I didnt cry, but came close. Cute movie to watch, but not good for kids, because of the ending. Has Owen Wilson and Jennifer Anniston in it. They do well together. Wasnt sure if they would.

Think that is it for now... anyone else see any of these movies? If so, what was your take?

Ive seen some of these movies..

Zach and miri make a porno.. i thought it was soo funny.. i am a huge seth rogan fan so of course i liked it.. lol..

Taken.. my bf and I went to watch this movie and we loved it! it was kind of creepy and thrilling at the same time..

 

"W" i rented this movie and i thought it sucked.. i felt like i had adhd while watching it.. i couldn't pay all of my attention to it at all..

My best friends girl; that movie was soo funny.. i love the trick he plays on girls with the song in his car..
