Okay, so I have to say something about all those end of the world nutjobs out there.

So the stimulus package.  Does it suck that we have to borrow money from other countries? Well, yeah. But Obama promised throughout his campaign that he was going to DO something about the economy instead of just cutting taxes for wealthy people.  And the vast majority of us voted for him for that very reason.  This does not mean we are creating a New World Order, or that we are now socialists.  It just means he's trying to do something to help the economy.  So chillax about that, already.

And the whole lot of you are Masochists.  Get a God that doesn't hate you and everyone else.  I don't want to be raptured up.  I like my life. I have a great hubby, and I want to see my Daughter grow up.  I want to have a few more babies, too.  So if you're so miserable that you want to die, fine, whatever.  But the rest of us aren't going down with the ship.

And plenty of groups throughout history have been CERTAIN the end of the world was coming at this time or that time.  All of them have been wrong.

And talking about leaving the union, or rebelling against it or whatever makes you an unpatriotic jerk.  My husband just spent 15 months in Iraq, defending you idiots.  I loved this country even when George Bush was screwing it.  And even HE has my respect as a person, even if I think he sucked at his job.  If I met him, I'd even shake his hand.

And this bad economy has its silver lining.  People are being less wasteful.  We're treating the environment better, and spending more time with our families.  To me, that sounds like the opposite of the end of the world.

If you look around you, nothing ever ends.  It just goes in cycles.  Like the seasons.  Right now we're in winter.  But we'll get to spring.

So take off those foil hats, and get out of your bomb shelters people.  How about being thankful for what you have in this life, instead of wishing it would go away.

That's Right. He can't save us in a month and a half! We need to give him time.
