If I could do anything today...

I would snap my fingers and make my son's fever go away, his sniffles stop sniffing and his ears stop hurting.  Poor kid.  He's missing character day at school - they were supposed to bring in a book and dress like their favorite character from the book.  He had his Darth Vader costume hanging on the door and waiting this morning, but it wasn't happening no matter how hard he tried to pretend that taking his temp didn't hurt.
