A New Day

So here we are...Ash Wednesday and everyone asks the question of what to give up...I am not giving up anything- I am adding to my life! I am going to commit to a 40 day devotonal series that will take me through the gospel of Luke. So much focus has been on my moving...and trying to settle...the next 40 days will be a focus on me! Trying to discern what he wants for me and what His plan is for my life. I have been so caught up in what I need to do as a mother and as a wife...that I have lost focus of who I am and what He wants for me and from me. I am still working on Fireproof and it really is helping me to see Chet a little differently. I have always known that I was a lucky girl but this is helping me to let him know that I know I am a lucky girl! Loving your spouse unconditionally...being able to say I love you period...there are no conditions based on physical appearance or anything like that...just to say I love you period and feeling that is reciprocated is quite nice!
