Now see, there's a very simple problem with that statement.  What if I don't want to grow up?  Does that mean I can't be "something?  I will "age" (slowly, but it will happen no matter how much I lie about it) and I will "become."  However, I categorically refuse to grow up.

My childhood aspirations centered around becoming a mother and a woman of God.  Boring kid, right?  I also wanted to travel to South America and do missions work.  Now that I'm older, my professional aspirations include becoming an author, completing several degrees, and helping found a ministry (I've got all the details already, I'm just waiting for the time, the place, and the means).  My personal aspirations remain much the same.  I am a mom.  I am working on being a faithful Christian.  And I am now embarking on becoming a fabulous homeschooling mom as well.
