Truly amazing story - The mind of a child - my 8 yr old that is :)

My 8 yr old daughter is Named Azalea - her grandmother, on my husbands side, is Kathy:

Azalea is staying with Kathy and she was told they were going to go to the zoo the upcoming Saturday. Azalea was very happy to be able to go. Unfortunately, all day Friday she was misbehaving, even though she is normally very well behaved. Kathy was unable to get her to mind her manners and do as she was told, so she wrote Azalea and letter about her behavior and stated she will not be able to go to the zoo on Saturday due to that. It also included what she needs to do to correct her behavior to earn back those privileges.

After Azalea went to bed that night there, Kathy placed this letter in the decorative mailbox in the guest bedroom Azalea slept in. That morning Azalea woke to find this letter and read it to herself. She came out of her room well behaved all day. She never spoke a word about the zoo or the things that happened the prior day.

Later that night, right before bedtime, she slipped up and said, "I really wish I could have gone to the zoo today." Kathy asked Azalea if she knew why she didn't go and Azalea said, "Yes". Kathy asked Azalea how she knew. Azalea told her about the letter she read. Kathy then asked her if she knew who wrote the letter and left it there for her. Azalea responded, "Yes, I do." Kathy replied by asking, "Who?"

Azalea said, "GOD did."

Wow, the way a child's mind thinks. It is truly Amazing how that had affected her. I was told that for the following two weeks of her stay there, she was very well behaved. She really felt that GOD had saw her and wrote her a letter, and that HE was disappointed in her and that made her feel very bad and also concerned. To think, GOD had seen her and GOD had taken the time to write this letter. Well, Kathy never told her it was from her. I think when Christmas time comes, Azalea will be getting a letter from Santa Clause (from me). :)
