Nana, Day 9, and My Opinion (for those who care)

FIRST:  My thoughts on "Tuna Casserole".

WHAT THE FUCK IS TUNA CASEROLE?

Either have a tuna sandwich, OR noodles; Tuna casserole is...Repugnant.  Unpalatable, if you will.

Last night, hubs turned up the T.V. volume WHILE I WAS SPEAKING TO HIM.

"HEY!  Babe, I was saying something!"  I said above the volume...

He didn't hear me.

"YO!  CUPCAKE!"  I shouted..."I WAS TALKIN'!", I yelled.

"Cupcake?" He snapped.."WOW!".  He was offended, cause he KNOWS DAMN WELL what "Cupcake" means.

(Meanwhile, the kids look TOTALLY confused...kinda had the expression like, "Cupcakes?  We have cupcakes?").

"Yeah, well!  Only a TRUE CUPCAKE would increase the volume while someone was talking to them!", I pointed out, my eyes even wider than his.

"Sorry". He said..."You don't have to get so mean".

"Yeah I do", I said sweetly with a smile.

hehe..

I'm glad he laughed; that really coulda gone either way.

Starbucks is lowering they're prices; they call it the "Discounted Menu".

Did you know that you can grow BEAUTIFUL flowers with the leftover grounds that they throw away?

Great for fragrant flowers.

(And, NO...the flowers WILL NOT smell like "Coffee").

Finally, they brought the price of their mulch down...

Nana called last night.

I got 3 or 4 sentences in before she started in with some overtly negative recount of her previous day.  I couldn't get a word in edge-wise, so...

I hung up.

She called back, about 10 minutes later...

Ring Ring..

"Hello", I said, realizing after the fact that I sounded bummed out.

"Yeah, what was the last thing you heard before we were cut off?" She asked...

Um.

"I think you were saying something about.."

Click.

TODAY is BEAUTIFUL outside!!!  I'm headed out to get pictures and fresh air.

Well, maybe its because I am pregnant, but I like Tuna Casserole lol....

My husband does that too, I wanna smack him with the remote sometimes,

I have a grandpa that is like your nana...I always hang up on him, he always calls back...clueless I tell ya!

Enjoy your nice weather, we are looking at 50s and 60s this week so I can take the monsters out!

ok see that is it I am coming to Cali. We have sunshine and frigid winds lol not so conducive to outdoor play right now, unles you want icicle ears. LMBO at your nana you hung up on her?? lol Although I can understand why.. I have a few I am about to start hanging up on.. just sayin' lol.

and as far as hubby is concerned you were a whole lot politer then I woulda been. Ask my hubby he woulda been digging a remote outta his hind quarters after I implanted it there "bats eyelashes innocently"

Note to self ---- do not make tuna casserole when Elle comes over.

Okay, now that  that is done --- I have to tell ya - I keep seeing CUPCAKES everywhere - not the human kind (although I run into some of those too), but the real ones with frosting!  Seems like everywhere I look lately, there they are - wonder what that means.

I dont eat noodles anymore (excet the occasional yolk free whole wheat egg noodle) but I love Tuna casserole. Maybe you just havent had the right Tuna Casserole! LOL
