Growing Up

HOLY CRAP!!!

My son is 16 as of yesterday, the 2nd!  It is amazing me how time has flown by... and even more at how much he's changed in the past 3 years.  (He was giving me greif for a while there... as most teens tend to do!)  He's growing into an exceptional young man and now when he talks, he's talking of "future" and college and all kinds of stuff that you WANT them to be talking about! 

God help me, though... as we are taking him to get his lisense on Monday morning!  I am SOOOO freaking out about that!  Though I knew this day was coming and coming quickly... it's now HERE!

and to top it off, his orthodontist appointment is Thurdays and I can't get off work... but even before I figured that out... hubby said he could now drive himself.  HOW IS HE SOOOOO RELAXED ABOUT THIS!?  hahaha!   We live in a small town and his orthodontist is in a big city... if it was local I don't think I would be so FREAKED!

I have hubby trying to see if they can change it to Wednesday, that way son can pick me up at work (as it's on the way) and let me ride with him... but if it can't be changed, there I will be SPAZZING OUT at work waiting for calls saying "I am here" and "I am leaving" and "I am home"! 

My baby boy is growing up... and let me tell you, if your child is young... one day you, too, will FREAK OUT about this sort of thing, most likely!  It is harder on me than I thought it would be!  OMG!

So, breathe in, breathe out... Pray....

anyways... just wanted to share the excitement and vent my "freak-out".  HEHE!

 Hang in their Momma! And most of all, have trust in him! He wont do you wrong! As far as freaking out, have a nice long shower at the end of the day, either that or a beer! lol. Cheer up, warm weather is coming!!!! :0)

LOL, Thank God I still have many years before the license issue with my two, but I see my friends going through it with their kids, LOL.  And I'm terrified of the day I have to deal with it.  Just hang in there, lady, you will make it through, LOL.
