OK if i where a confederate flag on my shirt or have a tattoo of a confederate flag am i a racist? if i have a confederate flag in my yard does that make me a racist? if i tech my kids about the civil war and what the south stood for does that make me a racist? i ask these things because everyday people are being called racist because they have a confederate flag a wave it proudly. so why does that make me/them/us a racist?

Personally, I do not think the Confederate flag makes anyone a racist.  The confederate flag is part of history.  Honestly I am too tired to get into the matter much more than to say that I have good reasons why I feel this way.

Sorry, my friend. But you are guilty. Guilty of being white. And everything you do these days is considered racist. That is the sad truth.

you see, i have no problem with the flag. i look at it like this history is really His Story. he who wins the war makes the story. alot of people fail to realize that in the south both white and blacks worked the fields side by side. the civil war was glorified as a war for freedom. when in all truth that was a small portion of it. you see it was also an war over money. the states have and still have the right to break away the USA but to me the flag is a mark of our history. thats it nothing more nothing less. its about of all(US citizens) of our history.

and those who do not learn from history are bound to repeat it

like a bumpersticker i seen...<picture of a rebel flag> it's heritage not racism.  my husband and daughter are very proud of their southern heritage.  i don't want them to be afraid to show it.
