what's left for them....

am i the only mom who worries to the point of nausea about the state of the world and what it is going to be like for our children, our grandchildren?!! i speak to some of my closet friends (and i consider these women to be smart, informed people) and they are so laid back about the state of affairs our environment is in!! i consciously recycle, buy preowned ANYTHING i can, turn of lights/water, unplug appliances. and they don't seem to get it. why not? are you all doing these things? are these things enough? will our kids be killing each other over gasoline? will they be rowing boats to work because of global flooding? AM I DOING ENOUGH FOR MY CHILDREN...FOR YOUR CHILDREN?!

Apr. 21, 2007 at 10:09 PM I do everything you do to and yes I do wonder what my kids and grandkids have to look forward to and what they don't. I am afraid that there won't be anything for them. That is why I teach them about recycling and lights and everything along those lines. They can't understand though why I am so happy when we get a refund for our electric and gas bill though. I just tell them its because mommy was a good girl and didn't use alot of those things and the government was happy too thats why we got it back...hehe
