National Grammar Day is upon us!
If you KNOW when to say NO and can see that THEY'RE doing THEIR best work over THERE, rejoice in today! Embrace your sentence-making finesse and write like the wind! Use your big words! Click "check spelling"!
If you can remember that the comma is not just for decoration and parentheses are a matched set, today is your day.
If you cringe when you see an apostrophe at the end of "hers" or "yours", today is your day.
If you see someone write "for all intensive purposes" and you want to reach through the screen and inflict bodily harm on the culprit, today is your day.
If you are guilty of making blatant grammatical boo-boos and horrendous misspellings and being too lazy to use the SpellCheck button, today is not your day. Ask not for WHOM the bell tolls; it tolls for THEE. Now go sit in the corner until you are called. That's bad grammar, BAD!

Wow, permission to use big words is granted? Supercalifrajulisticexpialidocious!
Damn it all, Mr. Webster really needs to add that one to the Big Book.
AM, if Webster didn't want to put any Seussisms in there, he certainly won't put Disney-isms in there. I can't believe he had his own show in the 80's! Snobby one, that Webster. ;-P
