If I were a teacher what would I teach...

I NEVER wanted to be a teacher...I wanted to work in health care and take care of sick people....and I went to college to do so...worked in the field of respiratory therapy for 13...had 2 kids.  During that time I met another therapist who home schooled...I thought they were nuts!  BUT I talked to him, met his kids and we got to be friends...and friends talk....  Soon I was looking into homeschooling as well.

I have home schooled my 2 children for 8 years now....I have taught everything from K to now 7th grade.  Now I more administer than actually teach...the curriculum does the teaching I am just there to help when needed.  BUT I must say my favorite thing that I've taught has been history....we have had some very interesting discussions and all of us have learned some things.  I also love teaching science....doing experiments at home is fun!

I hate teaching English...its so tough and never was my best subject and as you can tell...puncuation is NOT my strong suit!  Thank God for good curriculums that helped me teach my children.

My hat goes off to every teacher....it s tough teaching 2 I can't begin to imagine teaching a whole class...adding in the regulations...they do an amazing job!!!
