7 Random Things About Me

1.  I am always in the middle of multiple projects - in the middle of a book (or books), a scrapbook (or several), a stichery, a jewelry design and a knitting project.  I get excited about finishing a piece but most often have the next one ready to begin or already started!

2.  I love to travel - unfortunately, my DH and DS do not really share my passion.  I DO make them watch The Amazing Race with me though and we all can enjoy that! 

3.  Love to meet new people and make new friends. especially when it seems like we have known each other from before (ever get that creepy feeling?) and we have so much in common!

4.  My DS Max (5 1/2) cracks me up.  He has said some doozers this year.  The last and greatest one was about 2 weeks ago when he asked his grandma why she chewed Nicorette gum?  (she has been chewing since the 1990's, ever since I knew DH).  She told him that it helps her to stop smoking.  Then he said to her, "Is it like a drug - fools your mind into thinking that you need it?"  She told him he was too smart for his own good then couldn't keep to to herself and told DH, who told ME and we DIED laughing!

5.  Max (DS) was born on the same day as his paternal GF and a day after my Dad.  2 years later, my nephew Eli was also born on the same day.  So its always a little painfu on the ckbookl to celebrate all 3 birthdays (his GF passed away before he was born) + Mother's Day and DH's BD a week before.

6.  I am a Gemini and have many, many of the classic characteristincs, including chatterbox, flirt and creativity.

7.  My friend took me to this Mind, Health and Body conference about a month ago and they had psychic readings there.  2 phychics "read" for me and they both told me the same thing!!!  I'm going to move (not till 2010) AND there is a baby girl waiting to be born for us!!  Wohooo!!  (no activity on either front yet!)

My sister loves going to psychics but I am always afraid of what I might hear. Can't wait to hear news about that baby girl!
