Hmm I would have to go with the period of the "American Dream". The 1950's.
The days of icons such as Marilyn Monroe, Esther Williams, Lucille Ball and Clark Gable.
Of Poodle Skirts and Rockabilly.
Of Cat-eye glasses and Saddle shoes.
The days of Finger waves and beehives.
Days of wearing aprons and ironing in heels.
Let's face facts though that was this

And THIS is me

I'm sorry but while I LOVE the clothes, the hair, and the overall feel of the 50's. I'm FAR too independent, "liberal", and let's face it bitchy to EVER be June Cleaver! You're cute June, but I live in reality!
Comments:
Aww, such a shame. You'd look hot wearing a poodle skirt and not cleaning your kitchen. ;-)
Its such a cool question! And LOL make your self at home and clean my kitchen LOL FUNNY!
The 1950's for me too. Though I have to say, I don't think women have ever been really passive and overly cooperative. Maybe history paints us that way. June Cleaver didn't exist and we've always had the ability kick butt when needed :)
i was just thinking .... hummmmm.... i did have some saddle shoes....and cat glasses ... blue ones... funny and i wasnt even in the 50 s....hehehe
