This was me last year at the Relay for Life. I couldnt participate because I had just had my last chemo treatment. The picture you see me wearing is of a father,son, brother in law and great person who gave everday of his life. But his life was cut short by Melanoma. A skin cancer gone bad. So I spent the day cheeing others on and lighting a luminaria for my brother in law. This year I have hair again and the steroid weight has gone. I am able to participate as a survivor and I will walk with pride for the the voices to be heard. I will walk for the cure. I will walk for all the cancers that are out there and all the lives that are forever changed. please visit my website: http://main.acsevents.org/goto/debbieromero.life . The economy is bad , but life still goes on and the fight does not stop. Donations are gladly accepted. Lets help end this disease. My fight began June 2007, and I have fought everday since. If your in treatments raise your hands to God and FIGHT with prayer. Just Fight ......Fight back !!!!!!!!!! get mad. If you cant donate, thats okay. Just volunteer at a local relay for life event, or any cancer event. Your participation is needed. If you cant volunteer and you can pray. Then pray for the 1, 500 people that die each day from cancer. Pray for their family, and friends to find peace. Just participate and let cancer know its not going to win !!!
