Okay, so I got called in to help at a different location (Great Clips) last night. I stopped at my store to get my stuff, get directions and I was on my way. I get there and was working, and next thing I know, this guy that I worked on the day before (at my normal store) popped his head in just to "say hi". He asked me which location I'm normally at, I told him, and he goes "then I'll see you there in about 10 days" (he's a marine and very cute), smiled and said "goodbye".
A little while later a guy came in for a cut, it was my turn. Very simple cut, 2 guard all over, but he tipped me $5! (fyi: we look up our customers in the computer system by their phone number). He's also a cutie and we had some good conversation. (I tried to talk him into a different cut and tried it out, but he still wanted the 2 all over... so we had a lil time) He asked me how long I'd been at Great Clips, I explained and then told him that this wasn't my normal location and told him where I normallyl work. He said he'd be seeing me at the other place next time. : ) After he left, Bev realized he forgot his coat. That's something he'd definitely need this morning! So I looked him up again, got his number and called him. It was his cell number but he didn't answer, so I left a message. It was getting close to closing time and no response. I figured he just didn't answer because he didn't recognize the number. So I asked Bev if it would be illegal of me to take his number and text him from my phone (they are VERY strict about the privacy, I didn't want to get into trouble) she told me to go ahead and do it as long as I didn't save the number. Anyway, he texted back and said he was on his way. I thought that would be the end of it. Well, he kept texting me until about 11:00 last night!! lol He actually asked me out for drinks some night! I'm beginning to think he "forgot" his coat on purpose! lol Maybe I still got it??!! heheheheheheehe
In all reality, it's just nice to be meeting people. Dates or no dates, I am lonely in this city. I moved here in September and hardly know anybody.
