Do you believe in miricles?

Hi ladies,  for the ones that know me, knows that my mom was dig. with lung cancer as well as cancer around her heart in Oct 08.  Where the cancer is located makes it inoperable.  Also, she has cancer in her lymp nodes.   She was given 4-6 months tol ive with agressive chemo and rad.(daily)  My brother and I made funeral arrangements for her last month, this was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life.  Well my mom has been through 40 treatments of both chem and rad.  yesterday we went to get the results of her pet scan, basically so they could tell us how long they believe she may have left.  Although their was a new spot of cancer in a node by her collar bone, the rest of the cancer is gone!  What?  Wow!  They now dont believe that she had the cancer around her heart at all.  We are all in shock and amazed by this wonderful news.  She will have more raditaion to treat the new cancer but the Dr is hopefull that she will be around for awhile longer.  I am so happy that I may be blessed to even have 2 more yrs with her.  I must admit, for the 1st time in my life, I had given up my faith but I now have a new reason to believe in miricles.

I believe!!!!!   That is wonderful!  I will continue to keep her in prayers!!!!!!!!!

Wow, I had no idea Sharon. WONDERFULLLL NEWS though! I'm thankful that things are looking up for you, I cannot imagine how hard it's been for you to deal with that! Now that I know that I will most definitely send some Mississippi prayers up there to YA"LL in Kentucky!!
