single moms never give up on love!

It wasnt about 8 months ago that me and my 6yr old daughter was in a shelter for domestic violence. we stayed there for bout 4 and a half months. we went there with basicly the clothes on our back and life looked so hopeless at the time. she was just startin kindergarden and that shouldve been a wonderful time for her but it was a very scary time for her instead. the shelter where we was stayin was really wonderful though. they helped us get the help that we needed and helped us get into an apt. we moved in right b4 christmas with almost nothin but a couch and 2 mattresses but when we moved in churches and different places found out about us and all kinds of stuff started pourin in. we now have a fully furnished apt. along with that the guy that one of my friends was seein at the time introduced me 2 the most wonderful guy that i have ever met. he has been there through it all with me and my daughter. we have went through havin 2 get a protection order against my ex and have went through bein scared 2 leave the house or answer the phone down 2 all the night mares that we have both had and this wonderful man that ive met has been there and not thought a thing about it. he has helped us decorate the apt and was there with us durin the holidays and all. i think we had the best holidays we have had since my daughter was born. i am so very thankful that we met him. my daughter just loves him to death and so do i. we will never be able 2 repay him for all he has done. i just want to let single moms out there that has almost given up not to. when you least expect that someone wonderful will ever come along thats when it happens and just blows you off your feet. my grandmother always said that everything happens for a reason and that what we go through gets us ready for what is yet to come our way. i only hope that some of you will find as much happiness as me and my daughter have found. just remember to always stay focused on whats important and never give up!
