I was doing some research this morning for a friend, and my own curiosity peaked regarding the use of probiotics and the treatment of Autism. I found this article:
Late-onset Autism and Intestinal Clostridia
My son had red flags of Autism in the spring of last year, and has since made almost a full recovery. He is still languaged delayed with some behavior issues, and I feel it in my heart that he is still somewhat "locked" in his recovery of language. I have a nagging feeling, that something is causing a block in the neuro-transmitters in his brain that involve language, and I want to find the key to "unlock" it!
Could this be effecting our kids that show signs of late-onset Autism? Could this be the reason why we have over 300,000 cases of Autism in our country?

Or have they finally found something to blame it on? Is there really hope for recovery for our children? I am all about seeking answers and solutions.
** Personal note from me: I hope this article helps you embark on your search for answers. I have kids pawing at me right now, so I will have to complete the rest of this later today. Please check back for more info.
