Moving to Nevada!

My husband just got a job offering Nevada to work for Newmont.  And we haven't made up our minds yet because we are going to take a trip and see what it is all about.  It is around Elko so I was wondering if anyone was from that area that I could chat with so they could give me any info??

Apr. 22, 2007 at 4:59 PM Nevada is gorgeous. Your pretty close to all. Yosemite. afew hours to the coast.Lake Tahoe is there. I think you will love it. I love going up there with the kids. or just me and the husband for a few days alone. Good luck!!

May. 28, 2007 at 12:10 AM I added to your chatterbox before I read your post...anyway I am in Spring Creek, just seven miles from Elko. My husband used to work for Newmont but is in NY right now. My brother in law and my cousin both work for Newmont though. Anyway if you want to talk or if you have any questions give me a holler. Been here for many years  :)
