Well, you need to know about it. I don't know if anyone can read these stories and not be moved ot tears. I'm not saying you have to join up to adopt a family and offer prayers,b ecause I know we don't all necessarily have the same religious beliefs. I personally have very different religious beliefs than most people but I am strongly religious and deeply believ ein the power of prayer. So although I realize any family I adopt may have different beliefs, we are praying to the same God. And although many time our prayers do not get answered hte way we want...I would like to know that if my child was dying of cancer or another incurable disease, that we had as many prayers as humanly possible.
So I encourage you, to take a minute from your busy lives, at least go visit the site, and if you don't want to join a prayer team, then maybe donate? Maybe the price of one happy meal can help their foundation!
and then when you're done, go log off the computer, hug your kids and thank God, or whoever for the good in your life.
All this because I read a Woman's Day article.
