I was inspired by Martha Stewart's recent show about Lilly Pulitzer. if any of you know about her, you know that her designs are always bright and vibrant with pinks, greens, and blues. You also know how expensive it is to purchase her stuff. At any rate, Martha was talking about making a Lilly inspired flower arrangement. She used real flowers of course, something which I cannot afford. But, I took the idea and tried it myself with fake flowers. Put it on top of a very spring colored table cloth, and there you have it. The pictures might be a bit blurry and bit dark. But, I might try to take the pictures again when there is more light available to me. So, here you go!

i work in the floral department at our local grocery store, and all i can say is, "well done!" good use of color and symmetry of color.

rule of thumb if you ever try a rose arrangement and you use baby's breath....the roses are always higher than the BB.

Not a new hobby, just trying to make my home prettier, I guess.
