It is about 1:30 in the morning.  I have given out more Motrin than most nurses do in a lifetime.  I really should have bought that stuff by the gallon!  Between 4 and six of the 12 have had the flu or currently have it.  I'm not sure about 2 of them bc they have symptoms without the fever, but I'm praying that it was their own personal version of it.  Right now I am waiting for Julianne's feeding pump to finish so that I can go to sleep.  They say that you can just let the pump do it automatically while you sleep, but you all know that I have overprotective issues.

So I have some questions for you all if you maybe have answers.  First of all, why doesn't Andrew ever catch anything?  I mean, I know he still could but he NEVER gets sick.  To go along with that, Have you ever seen a sick beaver?  I'm just wondering bc Andrew eats the wood off of the bed rather regularly and I'm wondering if the wood consumption could be the cause of his wonderful immune system.  (for those who don't know Andrew has Reactive Attachment Disorder so it could be any of the nonedible objects that he eats that causes this phenomenon lol)

Another question might be, Do you think that the first ones to catch the flu could recatch it by the time the last ones here get it?  I mean if you can recatch it then I need to know so that I can go ahead and lose my mind.  Along that line, If a mother of 12 children catches the flu does the National Guard come in to help?  roflol

Sorry if my humor is a little off tonight.  I am so tired.  lol  I don't know which is more tiring - the sick kids or the one child getting over the flu who sleeps in my bed when his asthma if flaring up and moves around all night.  lol

On a good note, ALL 12 OF THESE WONDERFUL CHILDREN ARE MINE!  Many mom's might take it for granted, but I waited so long for each one.  I tried for a long time before I ended up pregnant with Dayton.  That only happened after we changed our plans to adopt before we had children biologically, instead of the first plan have bio then adoptions.  Then each and every adoption has pulled my heartstrings out during the waiting.  Julianne being the latest child to rip out my heart while I waited nearly 11 months to bring her home.  I love every ounce of food that she spits on me!  I really enjoy the fact that I am up right now bc it means that she is home for me to take care of.

I LOVE MY LIFE, BUT I WILL ADMIT THAT SLEEP IS BEGINNING TO CALL MY NAME AND BELIEVES THAT I HAVE FORGOTTEN THE FRIENDSHIP THAT WE ONCE HAD!

God bless you.  You are a wonderful mom.

(LOL)To answer your question ,it is Yes by the time the last get the flu the first will have it again. It happens that way at my house every time! and we don't have 12.

We just started getting better around here ,but I know in about three days they will all be sick again..The flu needs to die!

For now I'm thanking God we all feel good today.

God bless your family. They are awesome just like their mom.
