Man, I had some humor to share... it almost felt important and  then the cat jumped up on  my chair and knocked my mouse off. (the microsoft kind, not the rodent kind) ;-) so I had to move my laptop, uncover myself (my blanket), slung it up the back of the chair. Then, get up on my knees, lean over the end part of the chair, fish around in the dark. find my mouse, rearrange myself to a sitting position, cover up, put my laptop back in my lap :-) and get my thoughts together. While in the midst of looking at the title my daughter (4yo) screamed out from her bedroom, so I moved my laptop, (more like tossed it aside), 3 scoots to the end of my chair, jumped up, ran into her room and found nothing awry. So, I covered her up, kissed her and made it back to my chair. So, I climbed on, got situated, started to get my thoughts together when I kept feeling cold.  I felt around for my blanket and realized it had fallen on the floor. So, I stretched myself over the side of the chair. (lounger type) stretching, stretching, bending my arm in a way it wasn't meant to go, past the back of the chair, clenching my teeth stretccccchhhhing... barely brushing the tips of my fingers on it. dang!  I can't reach it.  Can I do with out it? Sure, no big deal.  Can I just forget I'm cold and get on with it?  Ok... so I rearrange my laptop and position my mouse. Look at my title that was suppose to be funny a while ago... (I'm shivering)  NOPE, I cannot do without my blanket.  So, I move my laptop, completely hang over the side of the chair and get my damn blanket.  I cover up and get my laptop all situated, shiver down and get cozy. aaaahhh!  Now, back to the title of my journal...ummmm....  the neither label  :-).  ummm... what did I think was so funny about that 40 minutes ago? I actually laughed out loud. Yeah, it is really funny... well a few minutes ago I thought it was funny...

Ok...maybe, it wasn't that funny.

This is soooo my life.  I rarely write posts and seldom respond to them.  Being the Mother of (5) with 3 at home and having daycare kids in the mix, it's hard finishing a thought and writing it down is almost impossible.  So do you really have 10 kiddos?

I should have said this in my prior message.  I ADMIRE good daycare providers.  ABSOLUTELY ADMIRE them!  I think it's hard enough to love your own kids the way they should be when you're around them 24/7.  Boy, that didn't sound good...  hmmmm... but, hopefully most moms will know what I mean.

But, to take on even 12 hours a day of somebody elses' kids.  You have to have a gift for that.  So, thanks for being the good person you must be.

TTYL,

Mary

Thank you for the compliment.   I'm really lucky in that I have great DC kids.  I just recently lost a family of 3 due to loss of a job.  It's hard to see them go.  Most of my kids now are from my church and they have come to me by word of mouth reference.  In my previous life, I worked 14 yrs as a studio Photographer/ Manager.  I've always worked with kids and can't imagine not having extras around.

Would love to visit with you more.
