I like to go to the beach and i like to go camping. My family has a family reunion every year and it is a weekend camping trip by Naches. The only thing I don't like is wind. As much as i like the beach if it gets windy I don't want to be there because i have no bodily fat as it is so swimming in the cold ocean is hard enough, but add wind to it and i don't want to really be there because i feel like i'm freezing!

I guess in retrospect I'm more of a camper then. The only time I really went to the beach was when I lived on the Oregon Coast. It could just be that my family goes camping all the time. I'm sure that if my family were to congregate once a year on a beach somewhere I would probably acclimate to the beach, but we don't so I wont just yet.

I suppose thats why adults just sunbathe and don't really swim at the beach huh? They're too cold to go in the water so the wind makes it just right for them to feel ok while they lay in the sun and burn off their epidermus. That makes sense...

I don't know if I'm a camper or a beach person now though... I'll say I'm a camper because every little bit of wind I get cold. Even in 100 degree + weather I will put on a sweater if it gets windy because I feel cold.

I'm a camper :D my kid probably will be too.
