For Air Force Families

My brother Kyle is in Air Force Boot Camp right now. He has made us aware of the policy the Air Force has on only sending letters, no packages or cards. He said that if you send cards that they will take them, read them aloud, and then punish you with push ups or running.

So, we tell everyone in the family about this policy and stress the importance of following the rules. Of course every family has that one crazy family member and my family is no exception. My Aunt Robin called my mom to tell her she sent him a card. My mom in a panic told her the punishment he would be recieving. After a moment of silence my aunt told her what had been written in the card. This is what she said:

"Hello Baby Mimosa,

We really miss you! I would have sent you a package of snacks but we heard that Sgt. Crankypants would not like it! Hope you are well. Love, Aunt Bunny"

My mom after hearing this thoughtfully said, At least they will get a laugh before they get their butts kicked. Poor Mimosa.
