I have two really beautiful, sweet cocker spaniels. One is named Chloe (she is 5) and the other is Jake (he is 3). They were both very, very difficult to housebreak. Chloe is now housebroken, but Jake, on the other hand, is still going in the house. He will go to the door, wait, and if no one lets him out, he will go wherever the heck he wants to. I keep him in his crate whenever he is unsupervised, but we are moving next month and I am wondering if maybe someone has ideas on how to help me out with this! I am thinking that since we are going to a new place, without any old dog smells, this might be a chance to start fresh. Anyone have any ideas? I had always heard that cockers were tough to train, but he is my third one and the only one I haven't been able to train! Help!
