The people at AIG who are most responsible for the severity of the financial crisis should be in jail. But instead, they're slated to get $450 million in bonuses. Unbelievable, right?

I signed a petition urging Secretary Geithner and Congress to do whatever it takes to cancel these bonuses. Can you join me at the link below?

Aside from the petition, show your outrage by writing your Congressmen!  Clicking this link will bring you to the national webpage.

Uncomfortable writing? PM me and I can help you out.  We can't let these greedy criminals away with this!

You rock, mama.  I saw this on the news last night and fell over flabbergasted.  I will, by all means, be writing a letter.  Thanks for the link and THANK YOU for spreading the word.  Peace, mama.

Found this article about Obama trying to block these bonuses today:

I agree, it's absolutely outrageous!

What I especially love is how outraged some idiots are still getting over the mere thought of limiting bonuses to the bailed out companies. Corporate welfare good...taking care of children and their poor families... bad... ok whatever! I'm glad that makes no sense to me.

I personally would like to see, aside from disallowing AIG from paying out these bogus bonuses, is the media to stop protecting these a-holes.  I'm talking about the media releasing the executives names and photos. If the gov't owns 80% of this corp now, they are no longer private and after all the shenanigans they've pulled, they need the spotlight...the media spotlght. Every name, with a photo attached.  And then, let the public at them.  Because by then, they'll get exactly what they deserve...public ridicule, ostracizing, and absolutely no privacy whatsoever.  They think they're above gov't laws?  Let them be free, let them show their faces to us, so we the people can have the last laugh here.

AIG is wrong, they seem to think that they can hand out these bonuses since it was not stated otherwise when the bailout was given. Thanks Bush. At Least Obama is doing the right thing, unfortunately some of these bonuses have already been handed out. It is SICK what these people are doing, when Americans are continually losing jobs and everything that falls in the wake of that.
