Happy St. Patty's Day!!!

I'm a little Irish, but I like to try to take it all the way! I don't know much, but I do know that Irishman don't have corned beef and cabbage as a traditional meal. That's all american for ya! (Just the way we like it, right? lol)
Growing up I celebrated by going to what is called Dandelion Day's in Ione Ca. Those times were always so much fun. Family from all around Cali came to visit us and celebrate.
Eventually, we moved towards the mountains and it was harder for family to come by. The local family started to go to the Celtic Faire in Angels Camp (now in Sonora...) It's so much more fun and better! Better music, vendors, food...Its a blast. Especially if you want to camp out. Oh and theres even jousting!! So much fun to watch!
Murphy's Cali also has a good show too. Ive only been there a couple times maybe, but I do remember and have pics of Christian riding on a horse. Oh and they turn the river green! Its a real river, and it's GREEN. It's so much fun.
This year, I didnt get to do much. My husband doesnt appreciate it like I do. Instead we went to a bday party. It was still fun, but...you know.
I am glad though that at least I get to celebrate with some mom's that I either haven't met yet or just dont know very well. We're going to decorate cookies that I just got finished baking, finger paint, color, and eat corned beef, cabbage, and Irish Soda bread. I'm so excited! And its my very first play group at my own home. I'm nervous and excited.

I am so happy that you are having this play date. I think it will be a blast. I sent out a text last night to all of the girls, don't know if you got it, but Ash is sick. I took him to the doc yesterday and she thought he had strep. It is odd for a child under 2, but he has a rash all over his body that looks like a rash from strep. He has broke his fever, he is acting fine. He isn't doing well at the night time sleeping, but who knows. I will get the news today SOMETIME if he has it, so we will be staying home today. I am so sorry. I am really bummed to miss it! I wish you all a blast! Here is the list of ladies and what they are bringing...

I told someone to bring bottled water and you said you have pepsi.
Tell me how it goes and let the moms help you clean up! Your house will be thrashed, trust me :) take lots of pics!
