our dentist is going through a bad divorce and his practice has changed, I wanted to ask if I have cause for concern
1. he said he would do my son's two fillings in half an hour. 90 minutes later, he released my son with one filling done and said make another appointment. we paid for two fillings and an office visit, I am trusting the next visit will be free. does that entire experience strike any of you as odd? it does me.
2. he used to work methodically on patient at a time. since his personal crises, he now works on three patients at once with three dental hygienists back there. how hygienic is that?
3. is this a bad dentist or are these new ways of working to make more money or fit in with insurance?
Comments:
1. Yes that does sound strange. I wouldve asked or called them after getting home to see why they didnt do it all,yet charged for it all.
2. Not very hygienic. I dont know about you,but i prefer my dentist's full and undivided attention.
3. I should hope none of those.
Does your son mind the dentist? Cause if he does, the less time there the better. I wouldnot be happy.
